The Calendar says spring won’t be here for another couple
of weeks; but here at ProBusinessTools we are springing ahead of our competition
making enhancements to our software that all will enjoy. We are definitely in full
swing for the year ahead.

What's New In 2011?
There have been a number of enhancements recently added
here at ProBusinessTools. Here is a brief description. Please give us a call or
turn toward the knowledge base to learn more about the items that interest you.
- See your technician’s complete route on a map with automatic
calculated drive and arrival times.
- Setup non-working Holidays in your admin panel that won’t
allow technicians to open their calendars for that day.
- You can now batch email payroll reports to all your technicians
- Chart of Accounts and Cost Centers have been rewritten
with new features and reports.
- Search Jobs that have files attached.
- Batch print paperwork by order search results.
- Send out batch emails and newsletters to customers based
upon search criteria.
- You can now quickly edit a scheduled date and time using
the “force appointment” link.
- Search all open orders where note was last updated (##)
days ago.
- Administrators can now search and update key fields and
even cancel appointments up to 100 orders at the same time in new batch mode.
- Force users to change their passwords at fixed intervals.
- Copy groups of job types from one order type to another.
- Set the system to automatically open calendars up to 12
months ahead of time based upon the technician’s setup page.
- You can now choose between Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Map
Quest as your choice of maps when viewing a customer’s address.
- Limit staff with inventory security rights to one or more
warehouses

If you would like to keep track of our updates to the software; go to your company
Start Page, in the upper left hand corner click on the Main Tab, click on What’s
New, and a box will pop-up showing the Date, Category, Version, and What’s New (what
has been upgraded or changed). Please check from time to time so you are aware of
all the awesome changes we have available.

ProBusinessTools New Mobile Website Is Now In Beta:
We are really excited to share that we have rolled out;
a new website for smart phones, PDAs, Notebooks, and mobile laptops. Now techs can
view Work Orders for any date from their mobile device, get map directions from
their current location to their next appointment, add notes to Work Orders, and
update statuses.
Best of all it works while out of the service area. The technician can still save
changes in real time, those changes will be stored in a log on the mobile device
to be shared and integrated with the main database when back in the service area
creating a complete time log of events.

Meet the Team:
Quiano Lacy, Account Mgr
As an account manager, Quiano is responsible for Sales,
Marketing, and client relations. Quiano takes the sales calls and assists potential
clients in learning about ProBusinessTools. He also works with support to help existing
customers with technical issues.
Before coming to ProBusinessTools, Quiano was contracting for a couple of IT companies
and managed a satellite business. He has extensive experience business management,
technician issues, software, hardware, and networking. Quiano has a bachelor degree
in computer science and will complete his master’s degree in organizational leadership
on May 14th 2011. Quiano is looking forward to combining his education as well as
his work experience to enhance the strength of the company and his value to his
clients.
Quiano is a fantastic addition to our company and is looking forward to making the
most of the opportunity that comes with being a part of the ProBusinessTools team.

Suggestions From Our IT Department:
Internet Explore 9 Beta :
Microsoft has launched the beta release for IE 9, with
faster and more responsive websites, the new browser will make a website stand out;
with a seamless experience through Windows 7. The “One Box” feature you can go to
the web address or start a search all from the same place. The cool thing is there’s
a new feature where you can Pin a site to your Windows Task Bar and for more security
they have created a SmartScreen Filter to keep you protected from Anti-phishing,
Application Reputation, and Anti-malware from invading your computer. Microsoft
has a new Enhanced Tabs making your browsing experience a breeze. You are able to
open multiple pages in one window, or tear-off tabs and drag it out of the explorer
and create its own window, which is nice for side-by-side viewing.
Several of the techies here are already using Internet Exploror 9 and love it. Although
we highly recommend you do your own research before upgrading and using IE9 from
your network and computer. You can download it from
microsoft.com/IE9
